Outbound Call Failures Thursday 10th July 2025 12:00:00


Outbound calls have been receiving intermittent "404 invalid number" responses (which may present as UNALLOCATED_NUMBER). The issue has been traced to our upstream provider. We've temporarily redirected all outbound calls through our backup provider while we work with our primary provider to resolve the issue.

Our upstream carrier identified the cause of the original issue on their end and resolved it as of 20:18 UTC.

As we had already reconfigured our integration to work around the issue, their fix has no impact on ZynoTalk, but is always good to know that the root cause of the issue has been identified.

We've reconfigured our integration with our upstream carrier and routed calls back through our primary carrier.

While we're still working with our carrier on getting to the root cause of why our previous configuration suddenly stopped working correctly, the updated configuration appears to have resolved the problem.

We'll continue to monitor outgoing calls for issues.
